About
"Generell ist für mich und mein Werk das Literarische oft der Ausgangspunkt, unabhängig ob es
sich um fiktive oder wissenschaftliche Texte handelt. Das schlägt sich auch in den Titeln meiner Arbeiten
nieder. Ich führe für mich eine Art Zwiegespräch mit diesen mir wahlverwandten Kolleg*innen, daraus entstehen die Konzepte für meine Arbeiten und meine Sicht auf die Welt. Ich glaube, dass das Schreiben und Lesen von Literatur von unschätzbarem Wert sind, Instrumente, mit denen man sich einen Zugang zur Welt erarbeitet und zu eigenen Perspektiven gelangt, durch das Zurückgreifen auf Erfahrungen und Blickwinkel, die man nicht alle selbst erleben kann. Ich glaube auch nicht an ‚das Neue‘ als losgelöste
Kategorie. Ich denke, dass es Strukturen gibt, die sich durch Kulturen und durch Gesellschaften über den
Planeten und durch die Menschheitsgeschichte ziehen, wo sich Ereignisse wiederholen, dass es Themen gibt, die in jeder Generation und in jeder Epoche eine Relevanz haben. Es gibt grundsätzliche Themen mit denen wir als Menschen konfrontiert sind und die müssen permanent aktualisiert werden, aber per se ändern sich diese Themen nicht."
